HORSEBACK RIDING FACILITY POLICY

1. Safety Protocols:

  • All riders must wear appropriate safety gear, including helmets and riding boots, while mounted on a horse.

  • Riders must adhere to all instructions instructors and staff provide regarding safety procedures and horse handling.

  • Instructors will assess each rider's skill level and assign appropriate horses for lessons to ensure safety and comfort.
     

2. Lesson Etiquette:

  • Riders are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled lessons to ensure smooth transitions and efficient use of lesson time.

  • Participants should treat horses with respect and kindness, following proper grooming and handling techniques as instructed by staff.

  • Riders must inform instructors of any concerns or issues regarding their lesson experience promptly.

3. Horse Care and Welfare:

  • Proper horse care and welfare are paramount. Staff will ensure that all horses receive appropriate nutrition, exercise, and veterinary care.

  • Riders are encouraged to participate in horse care activities such as grooming and tacking up under the guidance of instructors to develop a deeper understanding of horsemanship.

4. Booking and Cancellation Policy:

  • Lesson bookings must be made in advance through our designated booking system or by contacting our office.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time to be able to receive a refund. 

5. Code of Conduct:

  • Respect for fellow riders, instructors, and staff is expected at all times.

  • Any behavior that compromises the safety or well-being of horses, riders, or staff will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the facility.

6. Liability Waiver:

  • All riders (or their legal guardians, if minors) must sign a liability waiver before participating in any riding activities at our facility, acknowledging the inherent risks of horseback riding.

7. Feedback and Communication:

  • We value feedback from our clients and encourage open communication. Please feel free to share any concerns, suggestions, or compliments with our staff.

8. Facility Rules:

  • Smoking, alcohol consumption, and drug use are strictly prohibited on the premises.

  • Please help us maintain a clean and tidy environment by disposing of trash properly and respecting facility property.
